This Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal data for MMO Warlords.

MMO Warlords is operated by ANME Design & Tech AB ("we", "us", "our"), the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the game and website (the "Service").

2. Personal data we collect

• Account data: email address, hashed login credentials, authentication provider identifiers.
• Character & gameplay data: hero name, class, progression, inventory, chat/PvP activity.
• Support messages: anything you send us for help or feedback.
• Technical data: IP address, device/browser identifiers, log and telemetry data.
• Purchase data: order confirmations and receipt records. Payment card details are collected and processed by Paddle, not by us.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Provide and operate the Service, including your account and characters — performance of a contract.
• Fulfil purchases and grant in-game items — performance of a contract.
• Prevent fraud, cheating, and abuse; secure the Service — legitimate interests.
• Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
• Product analytics and improvement — legitimate interests.
• Optional marketing communications — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Sharing and recipients

We share personal data only with:

• Service providers / subprocessors that host and operate the Service (cloud hosting, database, email, analytics, error monitoring).
• Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record, which handles the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and customer service inquiries related to orders.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
• Authorities where required by law.

5. International transfers

Personal data may be transferred outside the UK/EEA to service providers. Where it is, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Account and character data are kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised after prolonged inactivity or on request. Purchase and tax records are retained for the period required by law (typically 7 years).

Subject to applicable law you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, portability, and to withdraw consent. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and audit logging.
